Desktop Repairs Without Guesswork

We repair desktop computers, all-in-ones, workstations, office PCs, and custom towers with real diagnostics, in-house test equipment, and honest repair recommendations.

Random crashes usually aren’t random. We track down the cause before replacing parts.

Bring it in and we’ll tell you what failed, what it takes to fix it, and whether the repair makes sense.

No guesswork. No unnecessary repairs.

Diagnostic Process

Real Diagnostics, Not Guesswork

Random shutdowns, freezing, no-power issues, boot loops, and slow performance all point somewhere. We test the actual hardware, isolate the failure, and explain the repair before we order parts or open the wallet.

Full hardware diagnostics

CPU, RAM, motherboard, storage, GPU, power supply, cooling, USB ports, buttons, and internal connections.

Software and OS checks

Windows errors, driver problems, malware, startup issues, corruption, and system instability.

Bench testing with known-good parts

We use in-house test benches and known-good components to isolate failures without waiting on unnecessary parts.

QC and final verification

From intake notes to checkout, we document what changed, check the related hardware and software paths, and run the right stability tests before the system leaves.

How this works

1

Get it to us

Drop off, mail in, schedule service, or use our local pickup and delivery option.

2

We diagnose it

Real hardware and software diagnostics, not a checklist. We identify the actual failure.

3

You approve the repair

Clear quote with parts, labor, and timing. No work happens until you say go.

4

We repair and verify

Repair work, function testing, and stability checks before the system goes home.

Drop off
Walk in during business hours.
Mail in
Ship the system to our shop.
Schedule service
Pick a time that works for you.
Pickup & delivery
Local door-to-door option.

Pickup and delivery is available to anyone within 15 miles of our office for a $50 pickup/delivery fee. This is door pickup and drop-off only. If you need us to come inside, set up equipment, troubleshoot on-site, or perform any work at your location, it becomes an on-site service call with a 1-hour minimum at $200/hour.

Reliable systems start with proper diagnosis.

Once we identify the issue, here's how pricing works:

How Pricing Works

Simple computer repair pricing

Transparent pricing. No surprises after diagnosis.

Computer Repair
$150 + parts

Includes diagnostics for most desktops.

Your $100 drop-off deposit is applied toward this repair minimum if you approve the repair.

Final pricing depends on the issue, parts required, repair complexity, and system type. Desktops, all-in-ones, workstations, gaming PCs, and custom builds may price differently. Parts, advanced board repair, and data recovery are quoted separately.

Deposit Policy

Why ProTek

What Makes Us Different

Most shops replace parts. We repair the actual problem.

In-house test equipment

We keep test benches, tools, and known-good parts in-house so we can isolate problems faster and avoid unnecessary part orders.

Full-system diagnostics

We test the obvious parts and the annoying parts: buttons, ports, storage, memory, thermals, board behavior, software, and intermittent symptoms.

Repair verification and QC

Every system gets quality control coming in and going out. We verify the original issue, check related functions, confirm thermals and stability where appropriate, and make sure the machine is ready to go back into service.

Honest recommendations

If repair makes sense, we will explain the options. If replacement is smarter, we will tell you.

3-month labor warranty

Our repair labor is covered for 3 months on the work performed, so you have a clear path back to us if the same labor issue returns.

Manufacturer warranty help

When we install a new part with a manufacturer warranty, you do not have to chase the manufacturer alone. Bring it back to us, we will verify the failure, document the issue, and handle the RMA process when it qualifies.

Ready to fix it properly?
