Point-to-point wireless
A dedicated wireless bridge carries the network from one structure to another without relying on consumer extenders.
Best when: Trenching is impractical, line-of-sight is available, and the building needs Wi-Fi, cameras, switches, audio, or gate connectivity.
Ethernet
A wired copper run can be simple and reliable when distance, grounding, and pathway conditions are appropriate.
Best when: The building is close enough, a protected cable route exists, and the project does not require long-distance isolation.
Fiber
Fiber is useful for longer runs, electrical isolation between buildings, and high-performance links where the pathway supports it.
Best when: Distance, reliability, or electrical separation matter more than the lower upfront cost of a simpler path.
