Transparent pricing before work begins. The applicable service deposit is collected at intake and applied toward approved service. Diagnostic charges are non-refundable unless ProTek authorizes otherwise.

Service-specific diagnostic deposits

Standard computer and MacBook repairs use a $100 deposit; Gaming/custom and iMac repairs use $150; liquid damage uses $200. The applicable deposit is credited toward approved service.

Advanced diagnostics, when needed

If standard diagnostics cannot isolate the failure and deeper testing is required, we will explain why and ask before adding the $100 advanced diagnostic.

Unsafe contamination cleaning

Insects, pest residue, biological material, or other unsafe contamination requires a mandatory $50 cleaning before service can continue. Ordinary dust is not contamination.
