Home Monitoring

Home Monitoring Systems

Sensors, contacts, and detectors installed properly. ProTek handles the install, the wiring, and the configuration so your home monitoring hardware actually works when it needs to.

We install and configure the hardware. For 24/7 monitoring service, we integrate with third-party providers like Alarm.com.

What we install and configure

Common home monitoring components we set up and tie into your network and hub.

Door and window contacts

Magnetic contacts on entry points so the system knows when something opens.

Motion and glass-break sensors

Indoor coverage for movement and broken-glass detection in key areas.

Smoke and CO detectors

Connected detectors that report to the hub and the monitoring service.

Water leak and temperature

Leak sensors near appliances and water lines, temperature sensors for vulnerable spaces.

Camera integration

Tie in security cameras with the monitoring platform when supported.

Hub and network setup

Install or configure the hub, then verify the network side so reporting stays reliable.

Our Process

How an install works

Straightforward and honest. We do not pad jobs with parts you do not need.

STEP 1

Walkthrough and plan

We look at the home, talk through priorities, and map out sensor placement and wiring.

STEP 2

Clean install

Devices mounted properly, wiring kept clean, and connections done right the first time.

STEP 3

Configuration and test

Pair sensors to the hub, verify every device, and confirm reporting is working.

STEP 4

Handoff

You leave with a system you understand, plus simple instructions for daily use.

Pricing

Monitoring Projects Are Quoted Upfront

Most monitoring projects are priced by the job after we understand what needs to be monitored, how alerts should work, what equipment or software is involved, and how the system needs to be supported. Small service calls, troubleshooting, changes to existing systems, and one-off support may be billed hourly.

New Monitoring Setup

Quoted per project

For new monitoring systems, alert setup, equipment planning, software configuration, and clean handoff.

Existing System Service

Hourly when needed

For troubleshooting alerts, fixing existing monitoring, changing notification rules, replacing failed equipment, or working on systems we did not originally set up.

Small Changes

Quoted or hourly

For adding a monitored device, adjusting alerts, cleaning up notifications, changing contacts, or improving an existing setup.

Final pricing is confirmed before work begins. Larger monitoring projects and custom setups are quoted upfront.
