No surprises. No black hole. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you walk in to the moment you pick up.
From drop-off to pickup
You tell us what is going wrong
Tell us what your device is doing and what matters to you. We capture the details for the technician, who can follow up if they need more context. No vague "computer broken" note.
We check you in
We confirm your information and the service you need. Diagnostic deposits start at $100 and vary by service. The deposit covers diagnostic time and goes toward approved service. If you decide not to proceed, it covers the diagnosis already performed.
Your device hits the queue
Standard work joins the regular queue. Diagnostics usually begin in about 2–3 business days, depending on the queue. Rush service goes straight to the bench, and work begins immediately. An additional fee applies. You can follow key milestones in your portal.
We diagnose it
A technician tests your device to find the cause, then explains what they found. Your portal shows key customer-facing milestones. If you've opted into updates, we send them through your selected contact method when available. Our team reviews tickets flagged for attention and assigns the next step as needed.
You approve the fix
You get a quote explaining the issue, proposed work, price, and estimated timing. Review and approve it in your portal or with our team. We start the repair after you approve it. If you decline, we'll explain the next steps without pressure.
We fix it and check the work
We test the repaired functions and complete the quality checks that fit your device. Your portal can show quality-check updates and approved photos. A QC summary is available when the final report is approved and published to your portal.
You pick it up
We'll tell you when your device is ready and go over what was done. When a report is finalized and published, you can view it in your portal. Pay at the counter or use an available portal payment option. All our work includes a 90-day labor warranty. Parts carry their own manufacturer warranties.
Common questions
Will you look through my files?
We don't browse your personal files as part of a routine repair. If a service requires file access, including data recovery, we'll explain what needs to be checked and limit review to the work you authorized.
When do I get it back?
Repair time depends on what we find, your approval, parts, and the queue. For standard service, diagnostics usually start in about 2–3 business days. We'll give you an estimate when we know more, and your portal will show key milestones.
What if you can't fix it?
We'll tell you straight. Some devices can't be repaired safely or economically. We'll explain what we found and what options remain. The deposit covers diagnostic work already performed, but we won't charge for repair work we didn't do.
What does the diagnostic deposit cover?
Diagnostic deposits start at $100 and vary by service. They cover a technician's time testing the device and finding the cause. The deposit goes toward approved service. If you don't proceed, it covers the diagnosis already performed.
Do I have to use the portal?
No. You can talk with our team by phone, text, or email. The portal lets you follow key milestones and review documents if you choose to use it. Automated updates depend on your preferences and a reachable contact method.
